
Shocking murder of Detroit synagogue president
Samantha Woll, a prominent figure in both the political and religious spheres of Detroit, was found stabbed to death outside her home on Saturday morning.
Woll, 40, was the president of the Isaac Agree Downtown Detroit Synagogue. She had previously worked for U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin and was involved in the reelection campaign of Attorney General Dana Nessel.

Police were called to the scene at approximately 6:30 a.m. after a report of a woman found unresponsive on the ground. Woll was pronounced dead at the scene.
A trail of blood led investigators to Woll’s home, where they believe the crime took place.
Police have not yet identified a motive for the murder. The FBI is assisting with the investigation.
Woll’s death has sent shockwaves through the Detroit community. She was described as a kind, dedicated, and positive person who was always working to make her community a better place.
Her colleagues, friends, and loved ones are devastated by her senseless death.
