350heem Cause Of Death
The shooting may be related to a fight that broke out as the lounge was closing. The lounge owner, Jian Zhang, turned on the lights at 1:40 a.m. to close in accordance with city ordinances that require alcohol-serving businesses to shut by 2 a.m. A group attempted to enter around the same time, but they were denied admission, leading to a fight.
One of the victims may be related to former FSU standout and NBA player Dwayne Bacon. However, the police have not released the names of the victims due to Marsy’s Law.
Two off-duty police officers were already present at the lounge when the shooting occurred. They helped to apprehend the suspect and rendered aid to the victims.
