Popular YouTuber and Cristiano Ronaldo superfan IShowSpeed was recently rushed to emergency surgery for a gruesome swollen eye.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Speed spoke to his followers bandaged up in a hospital bed while in severe pain. He said that he “doesn’t know what [he] has” and that he has been feeling “s***, pretty bad.”
He also described his symptoms as “My eyes are puffing up, it feels like somebody is stabbing my eye with a knife and I have a headache.”
Speed’s health scare has raised concerns for his well-being, but he assured his fans that he is “going to be okay” and that he will “chill from travel for a bit” after he gets back home.
Speed is known for his love of football legend Ronaldo. He shot to fame by strangely pronouncing his name on a live stream and adopting his iconic “Suii” celebration.
Speed has since traveled the world watching his idol in action and gained a huge following due to his unique personality.
In June, Speed’s dreams came true when he met Ronaldo after a Portugal match. The pair hugged with Speed collapsing to the floor while crying in a clip that went viral worldwide.
