Tuberville was named National Coach of the Year by five different organizations in 2004. He also led Auburn to eight consecutive bowl appearances during his tenure.
After leaving Auburn in 2008, Tuberville served as head football coach at Texas Tech University (2010-2012) and the University of Cincinnati (2013-2016). He retired from coaching in 2016.
In 2020, Tuberville was elected to the United States Senate from Alabama. He is a member of the Republican Party and is known for his conservative views on issues such as abortion, healthcare, and climate change.
