CAA (Creative Artists Agency) is a talent and sports agency situated in Los Angeles, California. It is considered a powerful corporation in the talent agency industry and oversees a large number of clients.
CAA was founded in 1975 as a result of defections from the William Morris Agency, and there are currently four or five prominent talent agencies. William Morris Agency and Endeavor combined in 2009, forming William Morris Endeavor (WME). CAA and WME are the two major agencies in the world as of 2015.
CAA relocated to a new building in Century City, a Los Angeles neighborhood, in 2007. The new headquarters is dubbed “The Death Star” by industry insiders.
CAA has offices in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, London, Beijing, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Memphis, Stockholm, Munich, and Switzerland.
CAA stated in January 2022 that its headquarters would be relocated across the street from its current location in 2026.
