John Owan Enoh is a Nigerian politician and philanthropist who has served as a Senator and Member of the House of Representatives. He is known for his dedication to public service and his commitment to improving the lives of his constituents.

Enoh was born in Agbokim Waterfalls, Cross River State, Nigeria, on June 4, 1966. He attended St. Gregory Primary School and St. Augustine Junior Seminary before graduating from the University of Calabar with a degree in Sociology. He then earned a master’s degree in Demography from the same university.

Enoh began his political career in 1997 when he was elected to the Cross River State House of Assembly. He served in the House of Assembly for two terms, before being elected to the Federal House of Representatives in 2003. He represented the Etung/Obubra Federal Constituency for two terms.

In 2015, Enoh was elected to the Senate, representing the Cross River Central Senatorial District. He served in the Senate for one term.

In addition to his political career, Enoh is also a philanthropist. He is the founder of the JOE Foundation, which provides support to people living with diabetes in Nigeria. He is also a farmer and a businessman.

Enoh is a recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, including the Momento Award of Excellence from the Senate Students’ Union Government (SUG), University of Calabar, and the Obafemi Awolowo African Hero Award as Grand Advocate of the Masses by Africa Centre for Legislative Development.
